Dondi remains in the hospital today. Roy spent the night on the most uncomfortable cot ever made by human hands in her hospital room (seriously, we could have gone down to Home Depot and bought plywood that would have been more comfortable).
Both the specialist and the on-call doctor from her doctor's practice stopped in to see her today. The specialist came by first and said that her blood pressure was looking better, so there'd be a chance he'd recommend letting her come home on Monday. Then, about 5 minutes later, her doctor came in and said she was probably here until the baby comes. I think doctors make it up as they go along, personally.
The on-call doctor asked if we knew how big the baby was, and when we told him 6 pounds, 14 ounces, he raised his eyebrows and said he thought Dondi's doctor would probably go for inducing later this week when she hits 36 weeks.
Dondi's doctor is back on Monday, so we'll probably be able to make some firm decisions then. Because of work and other responsibilities, look for the post late on Monday or first thing Tuesday.

Don't complain too loudly about your comfort... these next 4-8 weeks are all about Dondi and Jordan. You, my friend, are an afterthought, unless someone needs you to do something for them (again, that'll be Dondi or Jordan there, my friend).
At least you got a cot. When Christine was in the hostpital, I had to sleep on a little bench built into the corner of the wall... It was a horrible arrangement, but I just grinned and beared it... afterall, I was in no way in worse shape than the wife.
All of that being said...
You guys will make awesome parents, and we're both so happy for you. Hope the new job is going well (and that they're treating you right during this tough time for you and Dondi).
